Moena (1184 m.), the largest town in Valle di Fassa is called “The Fairy of the Dolomites”.
Only a few minutes from Moena, public transport easily leads to the ski area TreValli, which allows you to spend unforgettable days both during winter and summertime at Lusia and San Pellegrino Pass, which are famous skiing resorts appreciated all over the world by both ski champions and skiing enthusiasts as well as snowboarders and telemarkers.
Moena is also the town from which the Marcialonga starts off. This cross-country ski competition is 70 km long and since 1971 has always started off its classic technique from Moena, attracting 5000 participants every year and competing as part of the World Cup.
