The Ciampac – Buffaure ski-area, which is included in the Val di Fassa and Dolomiti Superski ski resort, joins up the town of Pozza, at the centre of the Fassa Valley, with Alba di Canazei in the upper part of the valley.
There are 18 slopes, for a total of 31 km and 13 lifts.
A great new addition, opening for 2015-16 winter season, is the new “funifor” that takes you from Canazei to Col dei Rossi in just 5 minutes. Thanks to this new transportation system, you will be able to start the Tour of the Four Passes (Sellaronda) at Pozza di Fassa, already strapped into your skis.
The snow covered and sunny Ciampac basin, overlooked by Colac and Crepa Neigra, offers moments of relaxation with a well equipped baby park for the younger ones as well as a 2 km cross-country ring for Nordic ski lovers.
In Pozza the Skistadium Aloch is lit up for night time skiing and hosts many Europa Cup competitions as well as the Italian National ski team’s training sessions.
