ACQUATIC CENTER DÒLAONDES: A water treasure chest in the center of Canazei!
It is called Dòlaondes, (from the Ladin “Follow the waves”) and the name recalls the movement of water, reiterating the deep connection between this precious natural resource and the Val di Fassa.
A unique aquatic center that encompasses a total area of 2,400 square meters and offers swimming, fun and relaxation in the heart of Canazei, with panoramic views of the Gran Vernel and Colac peaks.
The aquatic center, equipped with a large outdoor parking lot, and is divided into three thematic areas: “Water & Fun” (where there are swimming pools), “Sport & Fitness” (equipped gym) and “Eat & Drink & Shop” (refreshment point).
In particular: in the “Water and Fun” area, there is a semi-Olympic pool approved by CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee), a Dòlaondes fun pool, a heated children’s area, a parabolic slide and an outdoor saltwater pool.
In the “Sport & Fitness” area, there is a large space dedicated to physical activity with a fully equipped gym with the latest Technogym machines for physical preparation and indoor training.
This area also features a room for postural rebalancing, physiotherapy and massage therapy treatments.
Finally, the “Eat&Drink &Shop” area is an indoor space in which guests can refresh themselves after an afternoon spent in the center while swimming, or enjoying our saunas and gym.
In this refreshment area there is also a store, where swimming equipment can be purchased.
The facility is also accessible to people with disabilities, because in the great sea of Dòlaondes, no one can stay ashore.
